  1. Chemically, you won’t need much.
Don’t forget the human body is very resilient and pretty much does everything it can with antibodies, white blood cells, and believe it or not, your liver might be your most important organ next to your brain for staying alive.

Drink plenty of water and stick to foods you buy on the borders of the grocery store. Fresh meats, cheese, nuts, fruits, veggies. Stay away from cereals, Anything that comes pre-packaged in a little box with tons of preservatives.

In a couple of weeks with that kind of diet your liver will be thanking you.

DO NOT take any stupid “cleansers” or “fart burning” vitamins as they really aren’t helping you. Stick to what the body was designed for…after all, how long have we been on this planet?

  2. cranberry juice and grapefruit are great flushers of the body. you can also get detox teas, found in most grocery stores or specialty food shops. then there are other pill form detoxing agents you can find at places like GNC. The staff at GNC tend to be quite helpful.

  3. I have never detoxed necessarily, but whenever I feel like I need to recharge or refresh (like after a roadtrip where all we eat is fast food, yuck) I try to eat all natural foods and cook for myself. Lotz of veggies and fruits and grilled meats and seafood. Stay away from “fake” foods like soda, jello, sweets, etc that are made from not natural products. It helps your body get back to normal and if you are working out you will need all those vitamins and minerals too. Drink water and take your vitamins - good luck! :-)
