What do I do to detox my body?

I saw some references as to how inner toxicity can be a minor/major cause of acne depending on the person especially in a teenager due to their traditional diet (hamburgers, fries, soft drinks, chips, etc).

I’m 15 and I’ve had acne since 11.

First it used to be mild but then it gotten to be all over my face and it’s really bad now.

I want to try something to detox my kidney, livers, colon, lungs, etc etc my body to see if I see improvement in my skin since your skin is an organ that does eliminate your body’s wastes.

What are some detox regimens I can use at home and not the stuff that you sell. I hear that fasting is a good way to detox and clean your body? Does diet play a role?

  1. hell yea diet plays a role …lots of veggies and fruit in the am …and a bunch of water vitamins are great to …and if you can your going to want to start working out ..like walking ..with a sweater on and sweat pants…get the pores moving!!!!!


  2. Detox diets are really just for those who don’t eat healthy. If you start eating a balanced diet with the recommended amount of fruit, veggies you are well on your way to a detox. Drink some green tea too that will help and lots of water, but like you said cut as much of the fat and crap out as possible.


  3. I dont think acne is really caused by a build up of toxins in your organs.

    I think you are sadly just one of many who are predisposed to it, through your skin’s reaction to hormonal changes in ur body, normal skin bactera that we all have etc etc.

    I know how you feel, I had an allergic reaction to my meds and it gave me acne like marks all over my face for a week and it was devastating. So to have it all the time… Well at least you’re nearly there as it says online that its almost always gone by the end of ur teens.


  4. Absolutely most of what you buy in the store, help speed the process and replaces vitamins. Diet is 100% of detox. You can do like a 3 day fast to start. Only eat raw vegetables and drink natural fruit juices (no additives or preservatives) and lots and lots of water. Don’t eat meat,dairy,wheat or gluten,caffeine,yeast and anything processed. Start on a friday.Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day, warm or room temperature. Water is essential to clear waste from the blood. Thirst is often mistaken for hunger Do not drink liquids around mealtime. Dilute fruit juice with 50% water.take the time to chew food well, especially grains.
