It seems that quite a number people are taking Detoxes, some people go for the full colon cleanse which is usually 8 days of fasting whilst undertaking the colon cleanse procedure. A popular way to do this is with a large bucket of warm water and coffee which is usually organic. Specially made tubes are used which usually purchased from America, these tubes are used for applying the water and organic coffee mix.

During the course of day the clients usually have a special massage around the stomach area to alleviate any pain, its usual also to drink coconut and fruit juice. Psyllium and Bentonite are also used to remove any mucoid plaque which may have been stuck on the inside walls of the intestines for some time. I have seen quite a few reports of people who have overcome various skin problems, overweight problems and general energy loss issues.

I have done around five colonic cleanses, 3 of them I did at my own home which were more comfortable as I had more cushions, nice music and plenty of incense. I did not use the large 16 litre buckets though as this felt like too much water, so I just purchased a couple of 2 litre ***** bags from the chemist. I used these the whole week and everything went quite smooth. I noticed that if I had lots of fruit shakes and protein substance I didn’t lose any weight as when I did the eight day cleanse at the detox center I lost over six kilos each time which was not good for me as I don’t weigh that much.

Overall after each detox I felt much lighter in general and my diet changed to a much more healthy intake, I no longer craved for chicken and became vegetarian without even planning it. After my second cleanse I no longer craved eggs or fish. Its amazing how one week of cleansing can change your diet in such a way after eating the same foods for over 30 years. If you just want to lose weight this is a fabulous system and quite affordable if you do it from your own home but if its your first time I highly recommend booking a Detox at a well known center.
