Rice, wheat and oats are also important because it provides carbohydrates and a good amount of vitamin C which helps in the absorption of iron that you can get from plants.

Amino acids which could be taken from beans such as kidney beans, lima beans, black-eyed peas and garbanzo beans, as well as from grains and nuts are best recommended if you are in this diet. Vitamin B12 which is also needed by the body is not present in plants. So, to avoid vitamin B12 deficiency, take this as supplements.

While on detox vegan diet, there are similar procedures to pursue. Other plans confine you to eat vegetables and fruits only but this plan confines you to a formula which contains mostly of cayenne pepper for 10 days. If your calorie intake is 700, your body will starve and lose weight and going back to your regular eating habits will be a problem because your metabolism tends to slow down which causes you to gain weight again.
