Body Detox
Being exposed to toxins and chemicals on an everyday basis
is nothing you can do much about. The earth is getting more
and more polluted everyday. Short of hiding yourself away
in an oxygen tent everyday, you cannot do much about it.
But one thing you can do is to try and remove these unwanted
nasties from your body in a natural and healthy way. “Detox”
is a word that you will probably hear a lot more of in the
coming years. This is because people are going through a
full body detox regularly to make sure they have no toxins
in their bodies that shouldn’t be there.
It is basically a process which involves encouraging the
removal of toxins by only consuming healthy products and
keeping hydrated. These are naturally and safely flushed out
of the system and a short space of time. There are many
different types of body detox programmes you can follow. A
popular type at present is the 3 day detox diet. This means
you only follow the diet for 3 days and should see effects
after that time.
More people however recommend that a full body detox should
last between 2-3 weeks. This gives the body more time to flush
out the toxins and also gives you more opportunity to lose
some more weight. The detox diet is not as strict as far as
what you can and cannot eat. As long as what you eat is healthy
and you stay away from fatty and high sugar products, then that
is enough. Unlike other diets, you don’t really have to worry
about counting daily calorie intake.
So eating healthily, regular exercise and drinking plenty of
water is enough to really help your body become more efficient
and you’ll also be able to remove some of those excess fatty
areas at the same time!
